Are you a mother with children aged from 0 to 5? Want some ‘time out’ to build meaningful relationships with other mums? Then MOPS is for you.
The MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group meets at 74 Lyndon Road Capalaba for two hours of refreshment, connection with other mums and some valuable time out where our little ones are cared for by loving, responsible carers. All carers have blue cards.
Every mum is welcomed, accepted and challenged to reach her potential and recognise her influence with her family and her world.
At MOPS we seek to provide a place where mums can be nurtured, can gain practical parenting strategies and friendships can be formed. Our program varies but usually we enjoy morning tea together, have a time of teaching which is relevant for mums, have a discussion time and craft. By the time the mums finish the MOPS meeting and pick up their children, they feel refreshed and better able to mother.
